MAY 18, 2020:

Due to ongoing concerns over the coronavirus crisis, and based on Oakland Community College's decision to not have in-person classes through the fall of 2020, we have decided that it will be best to cancel the 2020 OCAAFII Origin and Cause Seminar. 

One of OCAAFII's primary goals is offering educational opportunities for fire investigation professionals, and we are saddened by the need to cancel this year’s seminar. We considered online sessions, but as the networking and intensive 2-day training is key to what we offer, we decided that it would not be a reasonable substitute for the live seminar.

For those who purchased ticket(s) for the seminar, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price, minus any membership fees that may have been included. If you paid by card, your refund will be issued through Eventbrite and should appear in your card account within 5-7 business days. Once your refund is issued, you will receive a refund notification email from Eventbrite. If you paid by check, the check will be voided.

Again, our main concern is for your health and safety going forward. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns on this matter.

We anticipate a that we will be able to offer a great seminar in May 2021. More information on the 2021 seminar will be sent as soon as we are able!
